Armed robbery suspect sought by Lee’s Summit police after vehicle theft

Lee’s Summit, Missouri – The Lee’s Summit Police Department is currently searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery.

This incident took place on Thursday on the 1600 block of NW Chipman Road.

According to the victim, their vehicle along with other belongings were stolen.

The victim reported that while standing near their car, an individual armed with a gun approached and subsequently took the vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was found in Kansas City, Missouri, about an hour and a half later.

As of now, the police have not provided a description of the suspect.
