Missouri Governor Mike Parson is visiting Texas’ border today

Today, the Governor of Missouri, Mike Parson, will team up with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and 13 other Republican leaders to visit the southern border.

This Sunday, on February 4, they’re set to get a rundown on Operation Lone Star, an effort to keep the southern border safe. After getting all the details, they plan to talk to the press about the strong steps states are taking to look after Americans. They say this is necessary because of President Joe Biden’s policies on the border.

They’ll gather at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas for the briefing. Gov. Abbott, Texas Department of Public Safety’s Deputy Director Freeman Martin, Major General Thomas Suelzer from the Texas National Guard, and Texas Border Czar Mike Banks will lead the session.
