Public invited to attend opening of new playgrounds at Meramec State Park

Date:

Sullivan, Missouri – Meramec State Park is set to unveil two brand-new playgrounds with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18. The community is invited to join in the celebration of this latest addition to the park, which promises enhanced recreational opportunities for families and children.

Engagement and Future Plans

Immediately following the ceremony, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the park will host an open house-style public meeting. This event offers a perfect opportunity for the public to engage directly with representatives from Missouri State Parks.

These representatives will be available to provide detailed information about the park’s features and services, as well as to answer any questions attendees might have. This gathering will take place near the new day-use area playground where the ceremony is held.
