Kansas City, Missouri – Prominent distributor of industrial supplies and threaded fasteners, Packer Fastener has formally opened its new distribution center in Lenexa, Kansas, therefore signifying a notable increase in company activity in the Kansas City area. Located at 14900 W. 99th St., the 60,000 square-foot building, which reflects the company’s dedication to improving service delivery throughout the southern Midwest, started operations in August 2024.
Reflecting the company’s rapid expansion, their decision to construct a second site in the Kansas City area indicates a friendly welcome of their first center. The parent firm of Packer Fastener, PFS Companies, founder and CEO Terry Albrecht expressed excitement about the new site.
“Our new distribution center is a significant milestone for us and our customers,” said Terry Albrecht in a news release. “Expanding our footprint is a testament to the loyalty of our customers. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing the best possible service and support.”
This expansion comes on the heels of Packer Fastener’s and its sibling company Packer Freight’s remarkable performance in recent years. Packer Freight ranks as the 14th fastest-growing company in Wisconsin in 2023 while both companies have been included on the Inc. 5000. Having been named 2024 Top Places to Work in Northeast Wisconsin, their successes have also been in terms of workplace culture in addition to growth measures.
Known commonly as KC-DC, the Lenexa distribution center seeks to enhance logistical efficiency and better satisfy the growing demand from regional consumers. Establishing a presence nearer their consumer base will help Packer Fastener guarantee shorter delivery times and more individual customer service.
Packer Fastener welcomes area businesses and contractors to visit the new distribution center to observe the improved capacity and experience that accompany the growth—greater service. Packer Fastener is expected to solidify its leadership in the Midwest industrial supply market even more.
