Person shot near the Willow Creek apartments on January 31 dies due to the injuries

Kansas City, Mo. – Kansas City homicide detectives are looking into a shooting that happened near the Willow Creek apartments on January 31, which led to a person’s death three days later due to the injuries.

On a Wednesday morning around 11 a.m., the police were alerted to a shooting incident on W. 99th Terrace. They found the victim in an apartment complex’s parking garage, not far from Willow Creek apartments.

The person who was shot was quickly rushed to the hospital in a very serious condition.

By Saturday, the police received the sad news that the individual had succumbed to their injuries from the shooting. Now, the case is in the hands of the homicide team. Currently, the police haven’t caught anyone nor do they have leads on the shooter.
